Power Set.
A set consisting of all possible subsets of a given set ‘A’ is called the power set of ‘A’ and is denoted by P(A).
Real Numbers:
The union of the set of rational numbers Q and the set of irrational numbers Q’ is the set of Real Numbers and is denoted by R i. e., R = Q U Q’
Frequency Distribution:
To write a data in the form of a table in such a way that the frequency of each class can be observed at once is called its frequency distribution.
Concentric circle
Two or more circles with common centre and different radii are called concentric circle.
Note: Students can draw the diagram as well.
Vertically opposite angles:
These angles are formed when two straight lines intersect. The two angles are directly opposite each other through the vertex.
Note: Students can draw the diagram as well.
Q.2 i. Factorize
Answer = (3a – b – 4c) (3a – b + 4c )
ii. Find the cube root of 9261.
Answer = 21
Q. 3 Find the radius of a sphere if the area of its surface is 6.16 m2.
Answer: radius = 0.7 m
Q. 4. Find the weighted mean of the given data.
